Mrs. Quinn
Welcome Back!!!! We are all so excited to start this brand new school year. To help ease the transition back into school routines and activities, please see the following tips below to hopefully make the next few weeks as smooth as possible for the students and moms and dads:)
- Get enough sleep- make sure students develop a nighttime routine which will help them get the zzzzz's they need to be as successful as possible during the school day.
- Eat a healthy breakfast- It can be a long time until lunch- especially for the older students. Something to eat helps maintain attention, steadies moods, and keeps away the "hangries".
- Read communications from the school and teachers, whether it's in written form or emails. The students are more centered when everyone knows what is going on.
- Establish after school routines which includes time for homework completion. Leaving homework to right before bedtime after a long day of school and activities can make for a stressful time with tears.
- Have fun!
