Agenda for the week of May 6th- 10th:

Our running program will begin this week on Oct. 10th.  Our running day is Wednesday. The students are required to run/walk 5 laps to earn an A for the day. Students who complete 7 laps will earn a toe token and students who complete 9 laps will earn a running man. As the students complete five, ten, fifteen, twenty and twenty-five miles they will receive a mile token. If they complete thirty miles by the end of the running program they will receive a run club medal.  Students are allowed to bring water bottles to class on our running day.

Physical Education Rules:

1. Respect others.
2. Listen and follow directions.
3. Keep all body parts to yourself.
4. Be a good sport.


Consequences:


1. Verbal warning

2. Think time, as deemed necessary by the teacher, and 1 point deducted from grade.
3. Parent Contact on 5th warning(physical education behavior notification form)- 5 points deducted from grade.

4.Parent Contact on 10th warning ( Star behavior report)- 10 points deducted from grade.

   ***State behavior report will be written upon incident if a major infraction occurs.- 15 points deducted from grade. ***

 

Rewards:  Fun Friday, Stickers, Teacher Helper, Starbucks, bookmarks, Toe Tokens for completing laps set as the goal for the day, pencils, mini-notebooks, bags, erasers, bracelets.


GUIDELINES FOR EARNING STAR BUCKS:
Students can earn STAR Bucks by displaying good behavior during PE class, following rules in PE entrance and exit lineup procedures, displaying good citizenship skills and displaying good sportsmanship.     



Dress Requirements: Athletic shoes, shoes tied, which ensures the SAFETY of the children.  Children must have proper support around the foot and ankle to eliminate any type of injuries.
