Welcome to Mrs. Bahrenburg’s First Grade!
I am delighted to have your child in my class and I am looking forward to an exciting year! I consider everyone to be part of my first grade family. Throughout the year, I will encourage your child to discover a love toward reading, writing, and learning new things, become comfortable trying new things, laugh, and become a confident learner.
**On the first day of school your child will bring home a red folder. please take the papers out each night and return the folder the next day for daily communication. Thank you!
This year, the children who qualify will receive free/reduced breakfast and lunch each day. If your child is not eating the school breakfast or lunch, please send in a morning snack and a lunch each day.
**We will not have an afternoon snack at the end of the day**

*Headphones/Earbuds to be used with the chromebook
*Lunch Box for morning snack if your child is bringing these meals to school.
*Water bottle
*Extra box of crayons- optional
