*** Hello all Parents and Students. Welcome to the new school year at BTHS! My name is Mr. Ken Lynch and I teach Environmental Science...Below is a brief description of the Environmental Science Course.. Any questions you may have please email me at [email protected]
Environmental Science is the study of Earth's 4 basic systems: The atmosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere. The course focuses on the human impact on these systems and how humankind has affected these systems in positive and negative ways throughout time. The course focuses on how the human impact shapes the global environment as well as local environments. The course also focuses on conservation ecology, restoration ecology, environmental engineering and bioremediation as tools to conserve, maintain and repair our living environment. We all need to be good stewards to the environment. It is the only one we have!
Extra Help is available on Friday's for all my classes after school in my classroom...room 301. Their are late buses available at 2:50 pm. Students must bring their Chromebook computers to class everyday and student enrollment into my google classroom is mandatory. The invites for my google classrooms have been sent out to all students for each of my classes.
I am looking forward to having a great year of scientific learning and discovery with all of you!
