Ms. P.'s Background and Philosphy
A proud  alumni of the Brick Township School District (Midstreams, Vets Middle and Brick Memorial) I am truly honored to be part of our Brick faculty.  This is the start of my sixteenth year teaching.  I have completed graduate work in both Special Education and Educational Leadership.  I firmly believe that all students can reach their social and academic potential according to his or her needs.   "Always a Mustang...but lucky to be a Laker!"

Rules, Policies & Procedures

All school district and LRMS rules, policies and procedures are followed within Ms. P's class. 

Quick Survival Guide

- Always have and maintain your binder!
- Always have a writing utensil!
- Absent? Check your folder when you arrive back at school!
- Be respectful!

- All personal items (coat, book bag, hats, cell phones, etc.) should be kept in the student's locker. 
- Keep a great attitude in order to learn!


Academics

So proud to be teaching within the LRMS MD program.  This year I will be teaching your child mathematics and science.


Suggested Supplies

* Due to health guidlines, students will not be able to share supplies or utilize classroom supplies. 

* All supplies should be labeled with your child's name

- Hand held pencil sharpener
- Pencil bag/box
- Spiral notebook
- Small hand sanitizer
- 2 Inch Binder for Math (students will need this upon their return to school, students who were in our program last year have binders stored in school)
- 2 Inch Binder for Science (students will need this upon their return to school, students who were in our program last year have binder stored in school)

Fall and Winter CBI Trip Information
 

N/A at this time. 

CBI and Field Trips (2019 - 2020)

Manasquan Resevoir - Students enjoyed learning about local wild life and plants in addition to a picnic lunch and guided nature walk.

Bear Creek Herbary - Our tour guide showed the students local plants that are found in the area.  Students were able to feed various farm animals and plant their own Spider Plant.

Allaire Community Farm - While at the farm students were able to feed the goats, therapy cow, pig and Ryan GOOSEling!  They were even able to pick out their very own pumpkins.

Atalntic Farms - Students enjoyed a beautiful day at the farm.  We were able to feed the cows, pigs and goats.  We enjoyed a lunch at Wendy's.


Brick Police Station - Students received a tour of the court room, jail cell, police officer classroom and dispatching room in order to get a better understanding of basic law enforcment. 
New Jersey Natrual Gas - Students learned about basic safety as they toured the control center and customer center of NJNG.

Congratulations to our previous students of the month, Wyatt, Max, Johnny, Leo, Addi, Kayla P., & Ashley.  All have represented our class well and have demonstrated Laker character traits.
