I hope to see you at one of our Back-to-School events, where you will hear me discussing that communication between parents, teachers, and students is a critical piece of the education process- our kids benefit when we are all on the same page. It's important that we look out for each other and really be alert to issues as they arise. (And you are always welcome to share dog stories- I had a pack of 5 for years!)
Please be aware: Cell phone use in my classes (and throughout the school) is a major focus this year. Students in my classes will not be permitted to use their phones nor earbuds for the block. It will take some getting used to, but we can all agree that our job is to educate our students and these devices are serious obstacles to achieving that goal.
All students enrolled in my class will be emailed directly with appropriate Google Classroom codes and parents are invited to join!
