Berkley Street Media Center
The Media Center is intended to be the hub of learning. The school library program vision is to develop a 21st-century student-centered environment that provides opportunities for individual and group investigation, innovative thinking, ethical and responsible use of technology, and collaboration that motivates in a welcoming and safe community to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. It is also where students will gain a love of literature and reading. Students in grades K-5 will visit the Media Center on a weekly basis for media instruction. The Media Specialist will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to integrate technology across the curriculum.
