Specific and observable classroom rules
1. Respect
your peers, adults, and other's property.
2. Responsibility
doing what you need to do when you need to do it.
3. Kindness
treating others the way you expect to be treated.
If you have a problem solve it.
If you need help solving that problem, ask for help.
If you cannot solve the problem, I can.
Consequences
Implemented Hierarchy
1. Warning (teacher redirections - verbal, followed by gesture)
2. Move student seat
3. Phone call home
4. Behavior reflection form/phone call
5. Referral to principal
Reinforcement Procedures
Encourage and reinforce positive and expected behaviors
1. Individual tickets per the PBSIS program
2. Whole group contingency plan
Rewards:
Students can earn PBSIS tickets for exhibiting positive behaviors such as:
* Following all classroom and school rules
* Packing and unpacking quickly and quietly
* Walking in a quiet, properly spaced, line
*Working well as a class/group/with partners
*Quieting down when announcements are being made
*Receiving a compliment as a class by another teacher
or staff member
