Welcome, Families!
Hi! My name is Shiveta Joshi, and I’m the ESL teacher at Bradley Gardens Elementary School. I’m so happy to be part of your child’s school experience!
This is my 19th year teaching, and I have had the joy of working with students of many different ages, backgrounds, and learning styles. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from Rowan University, a B.A. in Elementary Education from Rider University, and a B.A. with French Honors from India.
As a teacher and a mom, I understand that every child is unique and that families play an important role in their child’s success. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, understood, and encouraged.
In our ESL classroom, we will work hard, have fun, and celebrate the languages, cultures, and experiences that make each student special. I love learning about my students’ interests and finding ways to connect those interests to learning.
My goal is for every student to feel confident, included, and proud of their progress—both in English and in all the wonderful things they bring to our classroom.
I’m looking forward to a great year and to getting to know you and your child!
