Welcome House 8 to 8th grade Civics!

 

I am Mr. Seta and will teach the Civics course for the STEAM House.

 

This year we will cover topics such as foundational documents, the Legislative Branch, the Executive Branch, the Judicial Branch, the Bill of Rights, citizens' rights and amendments, and the role of the citizens in the government. 

  

Although this site has excellent resources, the best way to stay up-to-date is my Google Classroom, where work will be posted, and the Remind app for daily reminders about work, projects, and assessments. If a student misses a class for any reason, it is his or her responsibility to check both Remind and Google Classroom.

 

 If you would like to schedule a meeting, I, along with the other House 8 teachers, are available every day from 12:00-12:30.
