Welcome to another great school year! My name is Shirley A. Neal and I am a Master Teacher Leaders at The Carroll High School. I teach Entrepreneurship/Business Management, Personal Finance/Risk Management - Insurance, Principles of Business/Social Media Marketing, Business Math, CyberLiteracy 1 & 2, & am the Lead Coach for the ROBO-Dogs Robotics Team). I am also a proud alumni of Carroll High School and am truly honored to be a part of the Bulldog Faculty. I am excited about this new school year and I hope you and your child are, as well.
The education of your child is both a privilege and a great responsibility. By working together, we can make sure that your child receives great learning experiences and has a wonderful school year, filled with excitement and new endeavors.
Parents, please know that I welcome you interaction and involvement in your child's education and I encourage you to contact me with your questions and concerns about your child's education. Research shows that children whose parents are actively involved in their education are higher achievers, better adjusted, score higher on standardized tests, have higher self-esteem, and are less likely to drop out of school.
