Food for Thought

“Meatloaf for dinner again?” Yuck! How would you like to have some new and interesting recipes to share with your family? Your task is to find new appetizer, main dish, or dessert recipes to feed guests at a family dinner party.  Your recipes will be compiled to form a fabulous cookbook that you can share with your family.

Get cooking!

Choose a recipe with at least five (5) ingredients. Write the recipe down on the provided sheet. You also need to do the following:

1. Double the recipe. Show work. Use sheet provided.

2. Half (1/2) the recipe. Show work. Use sheet provided.

3. Explain in complete sentences how you would adjust your recipe to feed 20 people. If quantity served is not given, estimate how many it will serve and explain what you would do to feed 20 people. Use sheet provided.

4. Present your information in a CREATIVE way. For example use pictures of a stove, refrigerator, potholder, or something to do with the item being prepared.
