WELCOME!
Welcome to Introduction & Advanced Video Production. This year is a new start to our school year. You will be learning new and exciting things about the TV industry. Some of these new learning skills will include but not limit to how TV started/works, terminology, how to use equipment, write a script and so much more.
Tiger TV, is a magazine format, television show, is Memorial High School’s window to the world. The program showcases the work of the students in the Video Production and Advanced Video Journalism classes. The programming deals with issues and topics of interest and importance to the Memorial High School student body.
Students involved with Tiger TV work with state-of-the-art equipment in an all-digital environment. In addition to technical skills, students learn to write for television, learn to express themselves, think creatively and critically, and develop self confidence and self esteem.
The work of many of our students has received recognition in the National Television Student Award of Excellence Competition sponsored by the National Academy of Arts and Sciences.
