Dear Parents & Guardians,
Welcome to the 6th grade at Valverda Elementary School. I look forward to working with your child as his or her math teacher. Included in this letter are a few items of interest to you and your child to insure that they receive the best educational experience possible.
We will use the Eureka Math curriculim and each child will recive their own workbook. As such each child will have all material at each night to complete assignmnets, review, and study for the upcoming day. I will assign the poroblem set at the end of each unit for homework. We will also have a learning assesment pertaining to the homework at the begining of each class. This philosophy is to insure that your child practices and retains the math concepts.
Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me via email, written correspondence of phone. I am always happy to hear from interested parents.
