Accelerated Reader

             I love to promote accelerated reader in the classroom. I think it gives the children a love for reading and in the process they become a very strong reader. They have a goal to meet for the week and if they week they recieve some kind of treat on Friday. They also can earn a field trip at the end of the year if they earn 60 or more points in accelerated reader. Please encourage them to take a part in this. There are also evenings set aside for your to come read with them in the libary. I will post them at a later date.
