“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.”

8 ways to help your student be successful in school

 1) Never do anything for your child that they can do themselves -- teach them

responsibility.

2) Teach your child to love to read -- let your child see how much you enjoy reading!

3) Pay attention to how your child does on their homework -- this is a good

indicator if they are struggling with anything. Catch it early!

4) Help your child memorize math facts -- play games like Monopoly or Candy Land to

enforce math skills

5) Review past tests with your child -- help them learn from previous mistakes

6) Focus on progress, not grades -- everyone has a bad day sometimes, focus

on what your child learned not what they scored.

7) Make sure your child is alert and well rested -- it makes all the difference

8) Help them see the bigger picture -- planning for the future starts now!
