Hello and welcome to my website! This is my 6th year teaching at Lehigh Senior High School. I moved to Fort Myers in 2011 from the great state of Pennsylvania, where I lived about an hour south of PITTSBURGH. I attended West Virginia University and later transferred and graduated in 2010 from California University of Pennsylvania. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Math Education and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. While in college, I was an active member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and currently participate in the Southwestern Florida Alumnae Chapter. I began my teaching career in Pennsylvania, where I taught sixth grade mathematics for one year and worked on my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from my alma mater. I am currently the Student Government Sponsor and like to stay involved here at school. I am a huge sports fan, which many of my past/present students like to argue with me about most of the time. My favorite sports are basketball and football and I love to play basketball any chance that I get!
My favorite teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers, West Virginia University FOOTBALL and BASKETBALL, Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Celtics (a large amount of my family members are from Boston). I am currently in the process of finding the perfect Florida college to root for, but until that happens.. GO WVU!
I look forward to working with each and every one of you throughout this school year. Please check this website on a regular basis for homework assignments, notes from class and various announcements. I will also be posted various links that will help you outside of class.
