World History
Twelfth grade World History is the second part of Western Civilization. Students will learn about European History starting with the Renaissance and moving to the present day. In the spring semester some World History studentś will begin through LSU taking dual enrollment Western Civilization 1003 Western Civilization since 1500. Students will learn dually but will have extra assignments that they will be doing at home.
US History Honors and Regular
The focus of this course is the study of the historical development of American ideas and institutions following Reconstruction post Civil War to the present day. Students will learn fundamental concepts in Civics, Economics, and Geography. They will obtain a basic knowledge of American culture through a chronological survey of major issues, movements, people, and events in United States History. This course is required for graduation and students must pass the LEAP 2025 exam with approaching basic or better.
