Welcome to First Grade!
Hello there! My name is Mrs. Romise Austin and I am delighted to be your child’s teacher this year! I am looking forward to working with you and your child. First grade is a time of new beginnings, making new friends and learning each and every day. We will meet and greet you outside in the greeting area and from there we will take them into the classroom. I cannot develop independent workers without your help. It takes time, patience and love! Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Here are a few suggestions to make our classroom run a little smoother:
School – Begins promptly at 8:35 am. The late bell rings at 8:45
Book bags- Students must bring one to school every day.
Lunch- Children are served lunch 11:50-12:20 daily. It is important that you return your lunch form as soon as possible as all children are considered full pay until notified by the Food Service Department
Toys- Please keep them at home.
