I am elated to be working here at the Middle School of Pleasantville as one of the Assistant Principals. I recieved my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Hampton University in 1999. Upon completion of my undergraduate studies, I taught English Language Arts for three years at Jackson Acadmey Alternative School in Newport News, VA. With a strong desire to give back to my community, I returned to my roots in Pleasantville and began working as an English Language Arts teacher right here at the Middle School. In 2009 I received my Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.

 

I am passionate about seeing young people succeed academically, mentally, and socially. I truly believe that every child can learn and it is our responsibilty to find out how they learn best. It is my goal to ensure a safe, diverse, and stimulating learning enviroment for both students and staff. I am excited to partner with students, staff, and community members so that this will be our best year yet!
