FORMAT: High school students gain valuable guidance and teaching experience while working with preschool aged children.

 

Chapter Work from Text “The Developing Child” on families, parenting skills, guiding children, pregnancy and the development of a fetus.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The preschool class consists of 15 children ages 3-5. The preschool has a teacher and a paraprofessional.

Students will have opportunites to work with the preschool teachers and the children in an actual preschool setting.

Appropriate behavior, language, and positve role modeling is required at all times when working with the children.

 

GRADING:

Assessment 70%

Assignments 30%

  

EXPECTATIONS:

Students need to be ready to help out whenever needed in the preschool.

Use appropriate language and behavior in front of the children.

Be a good role model for the children.

Be on time.

Bring your charged chomebook to class.

Use time well when completing classwork.
