Hello! I’m Mr. Cohen Pronounced (Co-en). In 1996, I received my BS in Business Administration from Georgian Court University. In 2006 I received an additional BA degree in Teacher Education with program distinction, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Stockton University. From my educational experience’s I hope to pass along any lessons to my students. They will benefit from my life the same way I can benefit from their life as we share our experiences and learn from each other.
I enjoy working with children in all aspects of their education. In addition to teaching, interacting with the students gives me a chance to allow students to open up about their life in school and out. I like having a lot of fun, whether joking around, breaking into a song or a quick dance, anything to make them laugh. It lets me assist in any areas needing that guiding voice. I’m grateful to be their Computer Specials teacher in that I can give them something they will use for the rest of their lives! The 2023-2024 school year is my 19th year teaching and 17th year in the Egg Harbor Township District. I previously taught 6th grade for 3 years at Fernwood Middle School, before coming to Davenport Elementary. I also taught 2 years in The Galloway Township School District.

On June 30th 2023, I celebrated 22 years of marriage to Mrs. Cohen, formerly known as Miss “K” for Kalogerellis OR Miss Clark. She started her teaching career in EHT at The High School in 1984 and retired in 2019 from being a math teacher at Atlantic City High School. She was a wonderfully dedicated educator for 35 years. We have one son Albert, who is now 30, :-)
