MEET MRS. BECK
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Jodi Beck and I will be your child’s teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. I live in Egg Harbor Township with my husband, Brian and my two daughters, Erin (12) and Kaylee (9).
I am beginning my 19th year in education. I hold certificates in Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education. In 2007, I earned my Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities, as well as my Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant certification (LDT/C). For two years I worked as a Learning Consultant on the Child Study Team for the Egg Harbor Township School District. I was the Case Manager for the students with special needs in the Preschool Program.
Although I enjoyed my position as a Learning Consultant, I truly missed the connection I had with the students in my classroom. I am passionate about the importance of preschool, and therefore, returned to the classroom in 2009.
In our Preschool Program, we use The Creative Curriculum, which encourages your child to explore his/her surroundings in a positive environment and learn through play. It is a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters Social/Emotional, Language, Physical and Cognitive skills.
