Welcome to Pre-K!
We are so excited to have you in our class this year and are looking forward to a great 2018-2019 school year at
North Main Street School.
Here is a little about our PreK program:
- We use the Tools of the Mind curriculum, which focuses on play
based learning through 6 classroom centers.
- Our centers are Art, Science, Dramatic Play, Table Toys, Blocks and Literacy.
- Students will interact and play in these centers while learning math and literacy skills.
- We LOVE reading books, making art projects, singing songs, dancing and learning!
Some topics we will cover this month include:
- The season of Autumn
- Letters
- Numbers
- Shapes
- Colors
- Family and All about me
