Welcome to
Mrs. Morris' ESL page
Welcome to my webpage. Here you cand find ways to help you and your child learn English.
A little about me: This is my 21st year in teaching. I have taught Kindergarten, First grade, Second grade, Fifth Grade and ESL- which stands for English as a Second Language. I have taught at both Washington Avenue School and North Main Street School. I like to think I am bilingual. I love teaching in Pleasantville! I love the students and parents. I treat them the way I treat my kids. In fact, I call them my babies. I tell them every year, "No matter how old you get, you'll still be one of my babies." So after 21 years, I have a LOT of babies. In fact, some of "my babies" are having their own babies in which I get to teach!!!
I have been married for 15 years to Mr. Morris, who is the computer guy at Leeds Avenue School. We have two children. Andy, my 13-year-old son. He has been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. He's had many tough years in school. I have a ton of resources about Autism and always willing to share. Abby, my 7-year-old daughter, is very excited to be starting 2nd grade. She loves school and learning. She is also a competitive gymnast, so that also keeps us busy! We have 2 adorable kitty cats and one cuddly pug.
