Welcome to Fifth Grade!
I hope you had a wonderful summer! I am so excited to welcome you to Eisenhower School for the 2026-2027 school year! This is an exciting year…with so many new happenings! Our first few days together will be spent getting to know each other, going over expectations both as a student at Eisenhower School and in our classroom, introducing classroom routines, and reviewing our daily schedule/specials.
Below are the supplies you will need for my classes to help you stay organized and have a successful fifth grade year:
For Mrs. Hayden’s Math/E-Math/Science you will need:
-
Homework folder
-
Pencils, pencils, and more pencils!!!
-
Marking pen (any color other than black)
-
Earbuds…please have a set that REMAIN in school.
-
Pencil case (soft...no pencil boxes please!)
**I will provide you with a NOTEBOOK and FOLDER
FOR MATH & SCIENCE**
**NO BINDERS PLEASE**

I will be providing each student in my homeroom a “kid-friendly” version of the daily schedule on the first day of school. In addition, students will be assigned a locker for fifth grade. The lockers will not have a lock on them and will be used to hold their coats and bags.
Enjoy the last week of summer! I am very excited to meet you and hear about your summer adventures! See you on Tuesday, September 8, 2026!
