Welcome to Mrs. James' US 1 Webpage!
This year, we are going to be studying American history from 1585 to 1914 and our focus is going to be how Americans developed a sense of culture & identity, created a government (that is still used today!), expanded their territory, affected other nations (including the Native Americans), and expanded their international role. We have a lot to learn, but in the end, you'll have a much greater sense of how we, as Americans, came to be and what it meant to be an American at key moments in our nation's development.
It's going to be an awesome year!!!
