Jr. Beta covers grades 5-9 and is an HONORS leadership service club. The club encourages students to serve others and become good citizens. The following are the qualifications that are required to become a Jr. Beta student and stay an active member:

Good Character (students are to be a role model to others)

Outstanding attitude

A-B Honor Role grades (this includes all subject areas)

 

All members must maintain an A-B report card. If they do not, he/she will be put on probation until the next nine weeks grades are in. If the students’ grades, on the next nine weeks report, return to A-B grades, the probation period is suspended. If the students’ grades are not A-B, he/she will be disqualified as a Jr. Beta member.

 

AUTOMATIC DISMISSAL

RECEIVING A LETTER "F" ON A NINE WEEK REPORT CARD IN ANY SUBJECT.

One Before/After School Detention

 

The National dues are $15.00 (a one time fee for grades 5-9)

The Local dues are $15.00 (this is due yearly)

Throughout the school year students will work towards attending the Jr. Beta field trip in the spring. Each child will work towards earning service points in order to qualify to attend the field trip. Information on attaining service points will be given to your child. The students will also be responsible for committee jobs and officer positions. The students will vote on officer positions.
