Monday, March 30

ELA:

• Superkids textbook: Read "The Lost Mit" story on pages 101-110
• Superkids student booklet: page 24-25
• Writing: Write about a time whe you lost something  and how you solved the problem.
• Complete 1 Lesson on Reading Eggs

Math: Prepare for Unit on Time

• Brain Pop Video: Parts of a Clock (watch and complete the short quiz)
• Inorder to prepare for our upcoming lessons on time, I would like for you to make an analog clock. You can use any materials around your house and be as creative as you would like! I would love to see pictures of them or you can wait to share them duirng our Zoom math lesson tomorrow!
• Some quick and easy ideas would be to use a paper plate for the clock face and string or straws for the hour and minute hands. Don't forget to wirte the numbers 1-12 on them. You can also google ways to make a clock or look on youtube if you need some help getting started.

If interested, there are videos and games on the Scholastic News website that correlates to this magazine

Math: Zoom Virtual Lesson on Time to the hour (invite will be sent via Remind App)

• Join me at 1:00PM on Zoom for a lesson how to tell time to the hour!
• Assignment: Lesson 9.6 (textbook pages 544-548)

• Join me at 1:00 on Zoom for a lesson on how to write digital times and match them to an analog clock!

• Prodigy: Play for 15 minutes (there should be questions related to time today)
• Optional: Ask someone to give you a time and show them that time on your clock or have them show you a time on your clock and you say the time!

• Readworks Article: A Dog is a Mammal

Skip question 8 (submit without answering)

• Kids A-Z: Free Choice Day! Choose any book from your Level Up Library to read!

Students must read the book and answer the questions at the end. Please tell me which book you read through the Remind App or Email.

• Bookmark Book Project on free choice book from Kids A-Z Level Up Library

Math:
