Monday, March 16:

Language Arts:

  •  Superkids student booklet: Memory Word game on pages 10 and 11
  • Kids A-Z (Assignment tab): Why do Leaves Change or Changing Seasons 

      Students need to read and answer questions at the end

  • Choose a book of your choice and complete the Book Award activity (large packet)

           You may pick a book in Kids A-Z (Level Up) or choose a book from home

  • Writing: All About Ducks (large packet)

Math:

  • Complete Lesson 9.5 (small packet with just this lesson)

Content: 

  •  Brain Pop Jr: Seasons

      Students should watch the video and take the easy quiz

 

Tuesday, March 17:

Language Arts:

  • Superkids textbook: Read "It Is Hot" poem on pages 74-76
  • Writing: Write an opinion piece on which type of weather you prefer, hot or cold? Remember to support it with 3 reasons why. 
  • Farmer's Friends paper on compound words (large packet)
  • Complete 1 Lesson on Reading Eggs

Math:

  • Farmer's Market and Umbrella Days (large packet)
  • Prodigy (15 minutes)

Wednesday, March 18:

Language Arts:

  • Superkids Textbook: Read The Super Hiding Spot on pages 77-84
  • Superkids student book: pages 12-14
  • Complete Story Map for Superkids Story (large packet)
  • Writing: Puddle Jumpers (large packet)

Math:

  • Moonstruck and Subtraction Train (large packet)
  • Prodigy (15 minutes)

Content:

  • Seasonal Sentence Sort (spring packet)

 

Thursday, March 19

Language Arts:

  • Scholastic News: My Wild Weather Day, read and complete comprehension questions packet

      If interested, there are videos and games on the Scholastic News website that correlate to this magazine

  • Read Works Article and Questions (online): Learn About Clouds 

         Skip Questions 7 and 8 (submit without answering)

  • Writing: Write about the weather today, use some of the vocabulary words from your magazine packet

Math:

  • What's Missing and Addition and Subtraction Puzzle (large packet)
  • Prodigy (15 minutes)

Content: cross curricular (with reading)

 

Friday, March 20

Language Arts:

         Students must read and answer the questions at the end

  • Read, Hello Spring! and complete comprehension questions on second page (science packet)
  • Spring Verbs page
  • Lion and Lamb paper (front of spring packet)
  • Writing: SPRING acrostic poem 

Math:

  • Writing Fact Famiies, Greater Than, Less Than and Odd or Even? (Large Packet)

Content: 

  • Social Studies: Read & Do- Meeting Wants and Needs (Unit 10) read and complete activity

      Students should watch the video and complete the easy quiz and complete the write about it activity

 

Wednesday, March 25

  • Read Works article and questions (online): Frog or Toad

       Skip questions 7 and 8 (submit without answering)

        Students should watch the video, complete the easy quiz and play one of the games
