Livingston Parish Public Schools still wants to provide food and

nutrition to our students even during this time while school is

closed, so we’re announcing a new program that will

deliver meals at your doorstep for free. This program is called

Meals-to-You, and it is a partnership between our district,

the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Baylor University.

Your student(s) enrolled at Livingston Parish School District

are eligible to participate in the program.


All you have to do is fill out an online sign-up form and

submit it as soon as possible!

Boxes will be provided on a first come, first served basis,

so sign up online today! Let Meals-to-You take away the stress

of buying extra groceries during this time. If you have

We are so proud of our SADD club members that were filmed

saying the Pledge of Allegiance for the 2une In show on WBRZ!!


They will air on the following dates: March 27th, March 31st,

April 2nd, April 6th, and April 8th.


The 2une In show is on weekdays from 5am-7am.

The particular segment airs within the 5:30am block.

If you're watching the anchor conduct traffic then it

will be the next thing they cut to. It also airs on the

24hr news channel WBRZ+ from 7am-9am, as well.


   WBRZ will also post on their website (

and their Facebook page (@WBRZ) on those respective days.


   Five different groups were filmed.

They only allowed 15 students per group.















The Livingston Parish Public School System continues to keep

the health, safety and well-being of our students and staff

as our highest priority.  As a school district, we are closely

monitoring the coronavirus situation and taking guidance from the

Louisiana Department of Health and the

U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

    The Governor has declared closures of

all Louisiana schools effective

March 16 to April 13.


We ask for your patience as we move through this

event.  We will be posting more information

on what these closures mean as information

becomes available.  Please continue to monitor
