Adjustment to the schedule for next semester!!

The LPSB has added 21 minutes to the every day for the second semester.  That means we will begin school at 8:15 a.m. and dismiss at 3:18 p.m.  ALSO, the student's first day back to school will be Thursday, January 5, 2017.  All half-days for the semester will be full days.

We would like to thank Pat's Coats for Kids for their donation of coats to our school!! Through this program, we were able to receive over 100 coats for our students!! If you know of a student in need of a coat who did not receive one, please let us know. If you are in a position to donate to Pat's Coats for Kids, please do.

Because the gymnasium is still unavailable due to flood repairs being completed, we regret that Doyle Elementary will not be able to have our annual Christmas program this year. Unfortunately there is no other space large enough for our program, since each year the community support and participation always fills the gym to capacity! Our other Christmas festivities, such as parties and other activities, will go on as planned. We will look forward to our gym being fully repaired as soon as possible!

The Doyle Elementary Family is so proud to be a part of this community!  Despite the tragedy of the flooding in our area and on our campus, as well as being out of school for over a month, we are back at school and returning to a normal routine. Our successful recovery is due to the support of our families, our community, and the kindness of others who have donated time and supplies to this effort.  A special thank you to:
