We had a busy week last week. Two of our friends turned 4. We finished our weather unit on friday with a nature scavenger hunt. We looked for items we might see outside in spring. The children really enjoyed looking through magnifying glasses and binoculars to spot birds flying and walking on the pavement, a spider on the tree and flowers starting to sprout out of the ground. We also saw clouds, rocks, flowers, soil, trees, and sticks. We didn't see any squirrels, or bumble bees.

Theme Growing and Changing
Letter of the Week Oo
In Math, we will be counting to 20 and identifying numerals 1- 20
introduce concepts of measuring, longer, shorter, smaller, taller
In Science, we will be making bird feeders for Earth Day and planting seeds this week.
In literacy, we will read books, poems and chants about growing.
In Social Studies, we will look at the changes the children have made over time in their life- baby till now.
Color of the Week is ORANGE
Please wear ORANGE on Friday

Promotion Ceremony - Monday, June 10, 2024 @ 8:15am
No Tickets for Ceremony
2 Adults per child
If you need to bring another adult who is involved with pickup/dropoff please speak to me and I'll see what I can do.
Please remember our classroom doesn't have much extra room. The ceremony will be approx 45 mins.
