Grade 3: Continue to practice addition and subtraction facts every day.
Once you are secure on your addition/subtraction facts....begin with the easy
multiplications facts x 0, x 2 , x 5
Math vocabulary is an important part of the math curriculum. Make flash
cards and study, study, study!
Grade 4 Accelerated Math Class
Each marking period all grade 4 students will be assessed on their use and fluency with multiplication and division algorithms. This assement will include no more than ten multiplication and division problems.
Every night you MUST be practicing your Multiplication and Division facts your goal is 90% fluency.
Students need to practice multiplication problems (2 digit by 2 digit & 4 digit by 1 digit) and long division
problems regularly in order to keep sharp on their skills.
