WELCOME TO THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR!
I am a speech-language pathologist with 21 years of experience as a Speech-Language Therapist as well as working with clients who utilize augmentative communication (also known as AAC) in school, rehabilitation, and home settings. I assist students throughout the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District, who are currently utilizing AAC or are being considered for use of an AAC system and their educational teams through the entire process of Augmentative Communication Consideration and Implementation.
I provide consultation to staff members on procedures for recommending an AAC evaluation, complete AAC evaluations with the student's educational team, provide consultation on the acquisition of an appropriate AAC system for a student when recommended, and provide staff and family training and consultation on the implementation of that system in the student's school and home settings. For those students who are currently using an AAC system, I also provide technical support and ongoing consultation with the student's educational team.
