Things Needed for Pre-K
Supplies:
- 1 Regular Size Backpack (please no small backpacks)
- 2 boxes of 24 Crayola Crayons
- 1 box Washable Crayola classic markers
- 1-8 ct Crayola Washable Watercolors
- 2-4 oz regular Elmers Glue
- 4 large white glue sticks
- 1 pair 5″ Fiskar blunt scissors
- 2 black dry erase markers
- 1 change of labeled clothes (can be put in a large ziploc bag)
- Rest Time Items
- One fitted crib sheet, one blanket and one small pillow
- OR a Nap Mat
*Breakfast will be available - FREE - for all students each and every day.
*Lunch money should be in an envelope or baggie with your child’s name on it. Lunch will be eaten in the classroom every day.
*We will have snack every day. Please send a nutritious snack with your child. (Please be advised, there might be 1:05 dismissal days that we might not get to eat the snack, but please do send it in!)
*If your child has a birthday during the school year, our school cafeteria does offer treats you may order for your child’s birthday celebration. In accordance with Federal and State mandates, if you are bringing food from an OUTSIDE source, we have to be made aware of all ingredients listed in the occurrence of any food allergies children may have.
*Please send in an extra change of clothes for your child in a labeled bag that we can keep on hand in the event of any accidents.
*Send in a small pillow, blanket, and crib sheet for your child for nap time. We send all bedding home on Fridays to be washed! Be sure to send it back with your child on Monday. YOU CAN ALSO SEND IN A NAP MAT!
*For safety reasons, please have your child wear sneakers or a similar type shoe every day. We will go outside AS MUCH AS WE POSSIBLY can and go out every day for recess.
*Please label any coats/jackets/extra clothing you send in for your child. You'd be amazed how many sweatshirts, hoodies, and jackets we can accumulate in a year.
*If your child will be going home with someone other than Mom or Dad, or will be picked up instead of riding the bus, we must receive a note stating this change. For safety reasons and the welfare of your child, Miss Tully and Mrs. Helbig will NOT release a student to someone that has not been given permission by you and can NOT produce proper identification when picking up your child. We understand emergencies arise, so if someone is being sent in to pick up your child last minute, please make sure that person knows that they will be asked to present proper identification.
*If you pick up your child, please be outside by 2:50. It is important for your child to see you there waiting.
