Second Grade:

 

This year is all about reading and understanding what we are reading.  We will continue to learn phonetic skills as well as reading lots of new books.  Continue to practice those high frequency words to continue to build reading fluency.  We will use graphic organizers to tell and write about what we read.  

 

Monthly Phonetic Skills:
