JROTC is an elective course open to most student whom are willing to meet national course requirements.  The JROTC program requires that all students wear the issued uniform once a week.  Students must also conform to grooming standards when wearing the uniform.  JROTC is NOT a program that requires students to serve in the military after high school.  It is only a civics class with the mission to: Teach students to be good citizens.

Classes in the JROTC Curriculum teach a wide range of life skills that other courses do not teach, for example:  Conflict Resolution,  Community Service, Map Reading, Government, the differences between the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, and Leadership!  We also attend class related field trips to various places like the Pentagon in Washington DC and the NJ State Capitol, and state / US Capitol buildings in Trenton and Washington, DC.  Last but not least we take two over night field trips to Ft Dix New Jersey for Fall Mini-Camp (October) and Summer Camp (June).   Students find our program fun and educational and like no other program / class offered in the school.  We strongly recommend students consider JROTC!  If you have questions about JROTC stop by and speak to Sergeant Moody or me!  Thanks for visiting our page!
