Dear Second Graders and Families,
Welcome to Second Grade! I hope that you have enjoyed your time off this summer. I had a very busy summer doing my absolute favorite thing to do, travel! This summer I visited several European countries and I am excited to share about my adventures. I hope you each had a fun summer and I can't wait to learn more about you too! I hope you like pictures because I will be sharing a lot of them when I see you in September!
I live with my husband and three kids. My youngest just graduated college so it's been an exciting year at my house. I also live with my dad! He is 90 years old and I will be telling you some funny stories about him too this year. I am looking forward to seeing all of you and learning more about you as we spend the year in Second Grade together!
The second grade teachers would like to suggest a few items that would be helpful for the upcoming year. Please see the list of supplies on the menu to the left. Please label all supplies with your child's first and last name for when we return to school.

1 box of 24 crayons

1 pack 12 colored pencils

4 black dry erase markers

2 large glue sticks

1 pair of child-safe scissors

1 box sharpened wooden pencils

1 pencil sharpener - should catch the shavings

1 pair of over the head headphones (not wireless) in a labeled bag

1 marble notebook, wide ruled (at least 100 pages)
