Welcome to 8th grade! It is going to be an exciting and different year with LOTS to learn.
We will be using the Big Ideas textbook this year in Algebra and in Math 8. You will be able to access the online textbook through your clever login (login with google).
This year is going to be very different, I would like to help you stay as organized as possible, so if you would like to get some supplies before the start of school, that would be great! Please refer to the list below according to your class.
Math 8:
1 inch or larger binder (for MATH only)
3 tab dividers
Loose-leaf notebook paper (not a spiral notebook)
Pencils!
Headphones/Headset with microphone (recommended)
If you would like to purchase a calculator (it is not required), we will be using the TI-34 calculator in class.
Algebra:

If you would like to purchase a calculator (it is not required), we will be using the TI-84 calculator. We will be using the TI-84 Plus CE during class.
We will, on average, have a quiz or test about once a week. I am here to help, please reach out if you are struggling. On occasion, there may also be an unannounced quiz or test. If you stay on top of your nightly homework, you will do great!
