Welcome to an exciting year in first grade with Mrs. Curti!
This year will involve many new learning experiences that will both engage and challenge your child. I emphasize reading daily in order to practice comprehension and phonics skills. Parental involvement will be a key to your child's success. Together we can make a difference!

Parent/Teacher Conferences
My available meeting day/times is on Thursdays at 10:15am or 1:15pm. If you wish to contact me or schedule a conference with me please call the school at 201-714-4300 or write me a note and place it in your child's homework folder.
Homework
Homework will be distributed Monday-Friday and placed in your child's homework folder. Students are expected to complete homework on a daily basis. Reading and studying spelling words should also be done on a daily basis.
Parents are expected to check children's folders daily. Often, I place notices and/or other papers that require parents' signatures that must be returned back to school. Please click on the Homework link on the left side of the page to be updated on your child's homework for the week.
