In class
-Bell Ringers (students get one on one attention and help on the bellringer or any other work)
- Housekeeping: Students get reminded of assignments that are coming up and any other information regarding their progress, as a class and as individuals.

Quiz

Every Wednesday you will take a Know Quiz & a Language of Science Quiz

Students will have two attempts for each quiz, and 30sec to answer each question the quizzes

Information for both quizzes will be provided the first week of school and the quizzes will start the following week.
- Missed Quiz grades, due to absences, will be replaced with the next week's quiz grade, as they are cumulative.
Labs

Live labs- completed individually supplies and time permitting

Virtual labs- may be substituted for live labs as online interactive labs

At home labs- may be used based on supply availability
Notes
- Students will take interactive notes in class that consists of annotating and analyzing in order to extend given information.
- All notes are posted in google classroom under the title "At Home." They are stored in each student's classroom account and or in their google drive.
- Students can use their notes on all work, but not on tests.
Assignments
- Can be found in the students google classroom under the tab "Class Work." Assignments are organized by the unit. Under each unit topic, there is an "At Home" secont. There, all work can be found for that unit.
- Assignments are open to students for between 4-7 days.
- Students can repeat the Quizzizz assignments as many times as they need to until they get the grade they want.
- Edpuzzle video assignments can be attempted once unless the student requests to have the assignment reopened. However, students are allowed to rewind the video and research questions if needed.
Reviews
- Test Reviews will be opened to students 7 days before the test. Students can practice the review as many times as they need to until the test day.
- 75 point grade.
Tests
- Test will be based on the test review
- 100 point grade
- taken in class on Thurs or Fri
- If a test is missed due to an absence, the next test grade will replace the missed test grade, as the tests are cumulative.
