**Please fill out the attached sheet and bring it with you on the first day**
TWO TRUTHS AND A FIB
Please write two truths about yourself and one fib that you would like to share with the class during the first week. This will be a fun game so we can get to know each other. Have fun and be creative!!!
Mrs. Flanagan’s Example
- My sons turned 1 and 3 this summer!
- When I was in elementary school I went to Old Farmers Too!!!
- I went for a twelve-mile hike this summer!
Two of these are true and one is a fib…can you guess which one??
Find out on the first day :)
I’m writing to ask you to help me prepare for your child’s fifth grade experience. I want to make each child feel at home in my classroom as we all join together to build a learning community made up of unique individuals. We all bring with us our own learning style, interests, background and hopes.
Please take a few minutes to introduce your child to me. What is your youngster like? What are the things you, as a parent, feel would be important for me to know? What are your child’s interests? How do you see your child as a learner and a person?
You may mail your letter to me at school, email me at email@example.com or send it in with your child on the first day.
I would like to thank you in advance for providing me with your valuable input. I’m looking forward to meeting you and working with you and your child this year.
**A list of suggested school supplies can be found
on your child’s letter.**
