Welcome Back to School!!
Welcome to Eisenhower School! We hope this letter finds you well and enjoying your last days of summer. We are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things with in-person learning, meeting you, and hearing all about your exciting summer adventures.
Fifth grade will be a time when we will continue to learn, succeed, and grow as a classroom community, as well as independent learners. You will be encouraged to accomplish goals, work with others, and use critical thinking skills. We will explore a variety of new activities while we continue to provide support and encouragement for one another.
Although we will supply any materials that are needed, below you will find a suggested supply list for both our classes just in case you would like something more personalized!
Remember school starts on Thursday, September 9th!

Suggested Materials for both classes together (2021-2022):
- 1 one inch binder with folders (labeled with first/last name ... Also, please no larger than this as it makes it very difficult to keep inside desk)...optional
- soft pencil case with 3 holes to put in your binder (plastic boxes take up too much space in desk)...optional
- 1 set of earbuds/headphones (These will be used for all classes, so make sure they are easy to carry... no wireless ones though as they will not work with the computers)...optional
- at least 4 folders with holes (one for each subject) to put in your binder (the plastic ones last a lot longer)...optional
- backpack (no wheels, please)
- earbuds case ... optional
- highlighters (your choice of color) ... optional
- pencils (you will use a lot during the school year...mechanical or traditional, your choice … please do not bring all of them at once) ... optional
- pens (your choice of colors) ... optional
- many erasers (any type…we all make mistakes) ... optional
Other supplies such as additional pencils, pens, highlighters, folders, notebooks, calculators, crayons, rulers, glue, scissors, etc., will be available in our classrooms.
