DIGITAL TOOLS For Education
G Suite for education is a suite of tools that can help students increase opportunities for critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, all while supporting the learning objective that I have for my students.
Google Classroom is an application designed to help students and teachers communicate, collaborate, organize and manage assignments, grade and give feedback and go paperless!
Digital Tools we will explore:
1. G-mail: web-based email platform
2. Google Drive: allows one to store files securely and have access from any device
3.Google Docs: web-based word processing tool that one can create and edit documents online and collaborate in real-time
4. Google Sheets: web-based spreadsheet tool that one can create and edit spreadsheets online and collaborate in real-time.
5. Google Slides: web-based presentation tool that allows on to create and edit presentations online.
Digital Citizenship Topics:
Being a good digital citizen means to demonstrate and practice safe, responsible, and legal use of technology. A good digital citizen is someone who understands the rights and responsibilities that come with being online and someone who uses technology in a positive way.

Students will need their agendas to write their many passwords in to make sure they are ready to learn.
You must bring a pencil, your binders and make a folder for this class

Students will be learning the practicalities of daily financial decisions and the payoffs of long term planning. Through a compelling narrative in which students play the Mayor of a town, local citizens are helped with real life decisions. Students will learn about budgets, earning income, credit cards and much, much more.
Introduce students to foundational financial literacy concepts like budgeting, saving, income and careers through interactive lessons and games.

Any violation of the above classroom rules will result in a detention and or removal of class.

Hall Passes: Students must receive my permission to leave during class time. Your agendas must be used. No EXCEPTIONS

We are not allowed to leave the classroom until non-negotiables are read aloud by all, attendance is recorded and warm-ups are completed

We will keep our voices low and not yell or scream across the room

We contact Ms. Lind if you are having technical issues

We use control-alt-delete to sign out of the computers

We keep all writing materials (pencial, pens, markers) away from the computer

We keep all lips gloss, lipstick etc away from the computers

We stay on teacher approved sites

We don’t bring and food, drinks or anything editable into the classroom
