Creating and Discovering Art
There is so much happening-
We will be using the Elements of Art (color, line, shape, space, value, texture, form) and the Principals of Design (pattern, rhythm/movement, emphasis, variety, balance, proportions, unity) to create works of art that are inspired by the world around us.
Work will be proudly displayed around the school and on Artsonia.com.

Students are encouraged to explore, create, and express themselves in a productive way.
Important things:
-We will be contine to use Google Art Classroom for assignment information and other notifications.
-Assessments: Students will be assessed both formally and informally through observation, participation, quizzes, and projects. Daily participation in art activities will be vital to the student's learning.

- This year we will be having art club on Wednesdays. October 11, 25, Nov. 15, 29, Dec. 13, 20, Jan. 3,17, 24, 31, Feb 14, 21, 28, March 13, 20, 27. There is no club on 1/2 days. It will be held afterschool until 4:30. Art Club is for 5th grade students and older with parent permission.
