Hello 1C families and welcome to a new school year! I can hardly believe that the summer is winding down and on September 5th we will be starting an exciting year in first grade. In just a few short days we will be exploring a new classroom and making lots of new friends! I'm so excited and I hope you are too!

Our first day of school will be Tuesday, September 5th. Tuesday will be 12:30 dismissal. Wednesday September 6th  will be a full day of school

What to bring on the first day of school

*Please label all your child's belongings with his/her first and last name. This includes school fleeces, sweaters, lunch boxes and book bags.

 1. Students should bring an allergy free snack, nut free, and water. If your child has an allergy, please send in a note on the first day of school. (See lunch and snack procedures for more information.)

2. Students should have their dismissal method written on a piece of paper and placed in their backpack. If your child is a bus rider, his/her bus information  should be placed  inside their backpack. If they are not taking the bus, please write car rider or P.M Care.

3. Students will have a sustained silent reading time each day. Students will be allowed to read a book of their choice at this time. Your child may bring in a book from home to read.

I look forward to meeting your children on Tuesday

Please log in to the Parent Portal and complete the two mandatory forms (Media Release & Handbook Acknowledgement) as soon as possible!

If your child forgets their water bottle, please leave it at home. This way we teach responsibility. Please be ensured your child will not go without water, as we have water fountains. They will still be able to get water.

If your child is going to Girl Scouts, please send in a note so we know for dismissal.
