***As the weather gets cooler, please remember to send in a season-appropriate change of clothes for your child. Also, please keep in mind that velcro sneakers are still the best option for school. They're easy for children to manage independently and safe for playtime and gym.
We will have Gym on Wednesdays. If your child would like to wear the SLG gym uniform for gym class, they are welcome to do so. As always, please wear closed toe velcro sneakers.
***Please Note***
Extended Care: If your child stays for extended care, he/she must have a separate DISPOSABLE snack in a brown paper bag. If your child does not stay regularly or attends on sporadic days, please send a note in the morning letting me know they will be staying.
Lunch: Please send in a lunch that your child is able to finish on their own. I also ask that you send in 2 napkins; we use one as a placemat and the other is used at the end of lunch. Please avoid ordering lunch from the cafeteria in the begining of the year.
Show & Tell: Please check the Show & Tell tab for your child's scheduled day.
Recess: We plan on going outside everyday for recess. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Closed toe shoes are required. We prefer velcro shoes as they are safe and promote independence.
Communication: Communication is very important to your child's success. Please reach out to me anytime! I'm happy to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
Looking forward to a great year!
