Welcome to 8th Grade Language Arts!
This year our ELA class will read a variety of genres that explore unique themes such as coming of age, overcoming loss, the search for one's identity, fighting prejudices, and the inhumanity of genocide. We will be creating writing portfolios which will include narratives, poetry, argumenative essays, journalistic writing, and research essays.
