What is a Resource Classroom?
A Resource Classroom is a smaller classroom environment that focuses on helping children with educational learning difficulties to develop their reading and writing skills. Resource Rooms, which are like study halls for students who are having trouble in classes, that contain computers, books, reference books and other educational aids. Each of these rooms will be fitted with technology that can help students with learning difficulties, such as computers with synthesized speech or multisensory activities to assist children.

Homework
The children will be copying their homework assignment in their pad. Please make sure that the assignment is completed each night. All homework is signed by a parent/guardian after it has been checked for neatness and accuracy.
Goals
Each child needs to be confident. How can we get to this goal? We need to strengthen their skills in order to build confidence. One thing I cannot stress more is to READ, READ, and READ every single night. Whether your child is reading to you or your reading to your child. Practicing allows a child become more comfortable with their work and eventually become masters within their unit. Students should also practice math facts each day/night to become stronger, which will help them in other skills.
